The purpose of the Plan is to support existing and new small and medium-sized enterprises through the promotion of new investments in the circular economy, enabling them to make their products, production processes, and business practices more environmentally friendly.
The sponsorship amount reaches up to 50% of eligible expenses, with a maximum sponsorship amount of €400,000.

The beneficiaries of the financial support of the Scheme are new or existing Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) engaged in the Creation, Modernisation and Digital Upgrading of Units for the Processing and/or Marketing of Agricultural Products.
The amount of the grant, regardless of the State Aid scheme chosen, is 40% of the eligible costs with a maximum grant amount of €40,000.
In the case of enterprises located or to be located in mountainous and less-favoured areas, as defined in Annex IX, the amount of the grant will be 50 % of the eligible costs with a maximum grant of EUR 50 000.

The Plan aims to provide financial incentives in the form of government sponsorship to encourage GHG emission reductions through the submission of documents and studies (see Paragraph 12 of the Guidebook) that include specific actions whose implementation is aimed at reducing GHG emissions. The government grant will be provided at a rate, depending on the size of the enterprise, for the preparation of the eligible categories of expenditure described in Paragraph 12.1 and will apply ONLY to such expenditure.
The Eligible Expenditures are the costs of the study or consulting service related to deliverables (a) through (e) below:
(a) in the preparation of a monitoring plan for greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions resulting from their business activities,
(b) an inventory of the GHGs resulting from the activities of their business in relation to the reference year (average 2022-2023), excluding new entrants as defined in this Plan Implementation Guidebook,
(c) a verification of the inventory of WEEE resulting from the activities of their undertaking in relation to the reference year (average 2022-2023) in accordance with ISO 14064-1,
(d) the preparation of a GHG Reduction Action Plan up to 2030 containing, inter alia, investments/actions included in the categories of actions/investments in paragraph 12.5; and
(e) validation of the future (estimated) GHG emission reductions or removals for each action included in the Beneficiary’s Action Plan up to 2030, in accordance with ISO 14064-2.
Kriton Consultants has an approved Consultant, by the Department of Environment. Ms. Vivian Loizidou has been included in the “List of Qualified Experts for the Sponsorship Plan” and holds a certification of knowledge of ISO 14064-1 and ISO 14064-2 standards.
