rel=\"noopener\">Here<\/a><\/strong><\/pre>\n<p>There is a requirement, in accordance with the applicable legislation, for companies to train individuals who will be appointed as ISPS (Internal Services for Protection and Prevention).<\/p>\n<p>This obligation arises from the following regulations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u039a.\u0394.\u03a0 158\/2021 (The Management of Safety and Health at Work Regulations of 2021)<\/li>\n<li>\u039a.\u0394.\u03a0 237\/2021 (Establishment of the Safety Committee)<\/li>\n<li>\u039a.\u0394.\u03a0 238\/2021 (Minimum Training Requirements in Safety and Health)<\/li>\n<li>\u039a.\u0394.\u03a0 239\/2021 (Determination of the Number of Safety Representatives)<\/li>\n<li>\u039a.\u0394.\u03a0 240\/2021 (Code of Practice for Consultation between the Employer and Employees on Safety and Health Matters)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The individuals who will be appointed as ISPS must be familiar with the provisions of the above regulations so that they can contribute to the development and implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System in the workplace.<\/p>\n<p>For this purpose, the employees of the companies who will be appointed as ISPS are required to attend a 35-hour training programme, as specified by Regulation \u039a.\u0394.\u03a0. 238\/2021.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Training Objectives<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>Upon completion of the training, the trainees will be able to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Contribute to the collective effort of designing and implementing the Occupational Safety and Health Management System within the company in accordance with the applicable legislation.<\/li>\n<li>Recognize the legislative requirements for Occupational Safety and Health and relate them to the company\u2019s operations.<\/li>\n<li>Apply the requirements of the regulations (both new and existing) concerning Occupational Safety and Health.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct and update risk assessments in accordance with the requirements of the regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement an Emergency Response Plan.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the Special Safety and Health File in accordance with the provisions of the regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and address non-conformities related to Occupational Safety and Health.<\/li>\n<li>Plan their actions effectively to facilitate the implementation of the system within the company.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the analysis of data used to measure the performance of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h6><strong>Description of Candidates for Participation<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>The programme is addressed to individuals who will assume roles within the Internal Services for Protection and Prevention (ISPS), such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Employers or their representatives<\/li>\n<li>Safety and Health Officers<\/li>\n<li>Deputy Safety Officers<\/li>\n<li>Safety and Health Representatives<\/li>\n<li>Deputy Safety Officers\/Assistants<\/li>\n<li>Members of the Safety and Health Committee<\/li>\n<li>Fire Protection, Firefighting, and Evacuation Officers<\/li>\n<li>First Aid Officers<\/li>\n<li>Chairperson of the Safety Committee<\/li>\n<li>Other persons appointed by the employer as members of the ISPS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These participants are expected to contribute actively to the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System within their organization.<\/p>\n<h6>Trainer: Andreas Loizidis, Business Consultant, EXYPP<\/h6>\n<p>Mr. Andreas Loizidis is a Business Consultant and an approved \u0395\u039e\u03a5\u03a0\u03a0 (External Services for Protection and Prevention) provider by the Department of Labour Inspection for carrying out activities related to the protection and prevention of occupational risks and for offering these services to employers or self-employed individuals.\u00a0He has successfully developed and implemented Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems in several organizations in accordance with the ISO 45001 standard.\u00a0Furthermore, he is an approved Vocational Training Instructor (\u0395\u0395\u039a) by the Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus (HRDA).<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Training Method and Evaluation Techniques<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>The programme will be delivered through distance learning using the Zoom platform. A participation link will be provided upon confirmation of registration.\u00a0The programme requires active participation from all attendees.
